Environmental Credentials.

* We always buy seasonal and local flowers where possible.

* We always use mainly home-grown foliage.

* After a big event if we have flowers left over we often donate to charity or indeed just leave on peoples’ doorsteps locally as a surprise delivery.

*We try to use as little floral foam as possible and use it multiple times where possible.

* We re-cycle ALL green waste in one of four bins at the market  garden and the compost is used on future growing beds.

* We try and re-use all paper packaging on flowers sold, we re-cycle cardboard boxes and buckets that flowers are delivered in.

* As a consequence we have managed to reduce our waste collection to just twice a month.

* We use all low energy LED bulbs in shop lighting and my chosen energy supplier has a high proportion of renewable energy sources.

*We are as environmentally-conscious as possible but we’re always open to new ideas.
